Setting up Taskra for the first time

A complete walkthrough from install to your first AI reply — covering Shopify connection, email setup and going live.

Five steps will get Taskra answering customers in your voice within 10 minutes. No code, no migrations.

1. Install Taskra from the Shopify App Store

Search 'Taskra' in apps.shopify.com and click Install. The app requests read-only access to your products, orders and policies — approve and you're live.

2. Set your brand voice

Pick a tone (Friendly / Professional / Apologetic / Empathetic), add a sign-off name, and paste 2–3 sentences from a real reply you sent recently.

3. Connect your support email

Forward your support@ address into your unique Taskra inbox address. Works with Gmail, Outlook, and any custom domain.

4. Install the live chat widget

One click installs the chat bubble on every Shopify theme. No theme editing required.

5. Send a test message

Email yourself or open your store and chat — Taskra will draft and send a reply in under 2 seconds.
